Great place!. Well, I first went to pain for sale when my friend got her nose pierced. It's a highly sterile place and Annie opened up all the needles in front of us to show that they were new and had never been used. It was a quick and easy procedure, nothing went wrong with her nose. For a while, I wanted my lip pierced so I went in and did so. Nothing wrong there either. I went back two more times, for a a conch piercing and a tattoo. Annie did the piercing again and J.R. did my tattoo. He was unbelievebly nice and actually lowered the price of the tattoo because all I had was $40 on me. I got a sweet $40 tattoo.

This place is safe and clean and friendly. I brought two of my friends there and they had no problem with their piercings. You have to go in for yourself and see. It's true...this isn't for prissy people...the staff is tougher than most. But they are nice.

Great Experience. I was really surprised to see so many negative comments about Pain for Sale. I went there to get my tongue pierced and a tattoo done for myself, and have went with two of my friends while they got tattoos done. All of us were very happy with our experience. I've never had any problem with rude staff - actually they were exactly the opposite, they made us feel very comfortable and overall were really nice people. Maybe the place isn't for prissy up-tight customers, there's no marble floors or dainty waiting areas, it's a tattoo place. The floors may not be hospital sterile, but they are clean and they use a new needle for every job. And the prices - they can't be beat - Pain for Sale has the best deals I found. So don't let the nay-sayers scare you off - if you're realistic you'll have a great experience too.

Just not what they seam to be.. Just not a place I would consider to get a quality tattoo after talking to a couple people in there, so I guess I wait on a shop who can do what I want.

VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE. VERY GOOD FOLKS,FRIENDLY,OUTGOING,MADE ME FEEL AT HOME,I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE! THE WHOLE CREW IS AWESOME!

HORABLE PLACE and disgusting!!!. These guys are horrible, I had nothing but problems once I walked thru the door. I didn't end up getting the tattoo there because I saw nothing but filth in the corners of the shop and it smelled like They had all been smoking illegal substances. I got out of there after I got yelled at for flipping thru their books to fast. Save your self the head ache and go some place else.

Yeah right.... I waked in and got greeted by a woman who seamed like I was bothering her so as I talked about what I wanted she seamed like I was bothering her and that I was a pest so I left and got tattooed some place else.

Ouch, what a horror show!. This shop is disgusting... I went in there to get my tattoo looked at after getting it there to begin with, MISTAKE TO BEGIN WITH. And the artist there tried to get me to pay for his mistakes! I cant believe this place is stil around after the epidemic of hepatitis and piercing minors! They were even in the news for it, I only found this out after I got scared at this so called tattoo parlor. I will never go there again and wouldn't recommend any one else going there either. Don't take my word for it call around to there tattoo shops or just keep looking at all the horrible responses they have on yahoo thru the local thing, ouch. looks like Im not the only one thats been screwed over at this place.

bad experience.... I went to Pain for Sale to get my nipples pierced, and afterward they were bruised because the piercer had clamped them too tight, also they were bleeding a lot when she pierced them and they were bleeding afterward for about two weeks. the healing was extremely slow due to the bruising, despite the fact that i cleaned them and took care of them properly. my left nipple was pierced unevenly, so that if i took the rings out and put barbells in they looked very bad. the rings eventually worked themselves out, and when i called Pain for Sale to ask them what i should do about it, the piercer told me there was nothing i could do about it and to just leave them in, despite the fact that the ring was only under a very thin layer of my skin.

i then called another piercing place and they told me to immediately take the rings out, because otherwise they could become scarred. they also told me to wait 30 days if i wanted to get them repierced.

so i did, and i went to the Amulet, which did a wonderful job, the bleeding was minimal to nothing, the healing was quick, they are evenly pierced, and the service was wonderful.

i also got a monroe piercing at the amulet and was extremely happy with it.
