Great Asset for the Financially Responsible.
It appears that some reviewers aren't that "fiscally fit" and like to blame others for their problems (sounds like they need a 12 step program for debt!).
I have never had an issues with LMCU, then again I don't have credit cards or take on unnecessary debt.
Great institution as far as savings rates and virtually no fees for services.
Far better than any bank where I've been a member.
Friendly and helpful staff are quick to help resolve issues.
Would recommend to anyone who asks (and even those who don't!)…
Relationship doesn't matter. LMCU do not recognize the relationship you've kept with them. I like many in Michigan, with our sinking economy have gone through job losses. During this period I had to put my credit cards into a debt solution program, however, I kept my LMCU out of it and made my monthly required payments to them. Well apparently they review your credit every year, and because my credit report is porr due to the debt solution program I chose, LMCU decided to close my one and only good standing credit card. Here I thought my relationship with them would be good enough, but NO, they really don't care about their members.…
Hands down, the best financial institution in West Michigan..
I have been a member at this financial institution for over 16 year, and have nothing but praise for the staff, rates and fees. I have never belonged to a "big bank" and am I glad. LMCU's offers
competitive rates and fair fees on their services and always has since I have been a member. In my 16 years as a member, I have only had one issue, and as a previous reviewer put it, that was because of my financial irresponsiblity.
LMCU offers VIP programs where you earn points for services you use, and balances you have to earn free services (such as replacement ATM card, bonus %'s on CD and such).
If you want a great relationship with your finanacial institution, join LMCU today. You won't regret it.…
Took every penny I have. I have checking, savings, and two credit cards with L.M.C.U. Times have been a little tough lately so I am 38 days late on both credit cards. L.M.C.U. has drained both my checking and savings accounts to a zero balance. taking well over the amounts of the past due balances. They are not willing to work with me at all. Said " that is what happens when you don't pay your bills"…
