Incredible community asset. Wealthy Theatre is a great place where community happens every day. The diversity and variety of events is truly amazing! They have unique events and concerts, and most of them are very affordable, and even sometimes free! Their website always up to date and has a lot of great information, too.

It's too incredible to express in words. Sometimes when I am at Wealthy Theatre, I wonder if I have died and am now in heaven. And that's just when I'm using their restroom.

Best Theatre in Town!. Always have great shows ranging from movies to local music to comedy and then some. You'll always have a good time here.

Great Community Venue. When i moved to GR 10 years ago, Wealthy Street was not exactly a hot spot for night life. But since then, the Wealthy Theatre has really helped turn the whole block between Fuller and Diamond around. The Theatre is great, lots of variety from movies to live music, plays and community events. I have seen a ton of live bands over the years and I can honestly say that for the size of the venue, Wealthy Theatre sounds awesome, much better than a lot of the larger "for-profit" venues I have been to. AND it looks great, just like it did 100 years ago when it opened. The fact that it's a non-profit community theatre (part of the Community Media Center) is the icing on the cake. If Grand Rapids is serious about being a "cool city", places like the Wealthy Theatre are a key part of making that happen.

Great Venue. Great sound, ameneties, and ambience. Nice mix of vintage and ultra modern. All the cool kids are going there.

How did I knot know about this place?. Very cool place. Really good time. Highly recommended. Free parking, had a drink down the street and walked to the theatre (went back to the bar later as well ;-) it was a good night, I'll definitely be back.
