Discriminatory practices. Consistently excellent Chinese food, and great service. The Szechuan Combination is to die for. Smoking section available.

Update: 20 Aug 06. Stopped at the Hunan for dinner, two weeks ago today. Was informed that the smoking section was closed because another non-smoking patron wanted to sit there rather than the designated non-smoking area... and that it would remain closed until he/she was finished with their meal. They do prohibit smoking on Sunday mornings but this was over 5 hours later. When I pay the same price for a meal as anyone else pays I expect the same service. A smoking section was offered at the day and time I was there but yet we were arbitrarily denied it's use. When we called and spoke to the management a few days later they were unable to see where we had been inconvenienced. Since then I've been unable to see any reason to return to the Hunan. It takes a lot more than good food to make a good restaurant. Don't you hate it when you try to address an issue and suddenly the other party's grasp of the English language diminishes to practically nothing?
