Love their food and atmosphere. I've been going there since April. I was invited to check them out by the Chief of Security whom I have known for many years. At first I was leery because of the address; but you know, I found out my preconceived notions were way off base. This is my favorite place having abstained from bars after the Chez closed. I don't drink or smoke but that doesn't bother me. I really like the staff, food, atmosphere, and all the patrons. So much so, that I worked a deal with the owner to set up a photo booth.

I saw he was doing a lot of reinvestment and upgrading of his facilities and that, as a business person, was exciting; especially in this economy.

It is one of the nicest places in town, no stairs to climb, no elevators to run up and down shafts like wild rats, simple yet quite friendly. The Galewood Tavern is the place to be. See for yourself at their web site www_thegalewood_com. Replace the underscores with a dot for the link to work.

Don't work here. Lets just say, he doesn't like to pay. I worked there for a couple months, did a great job (not my words, his REGULARS words) and he still stiffed me on money. And to find him to ask him about it, hard. Then he would tell you he doesn't know what you're talking about. So, due to that, I would NOT recomend this place. You should have seen some of the things I found, and how bad the bathrooms were before I started working there!
