Bad service - not for special occasions. I just returned from my Birthday dinner at the Spinnaker in Grand Rapids MI. We expected an above average dining experience but it was far from above average or even average. We ordered and the steak my guest ordered was very underdone so it had to be sent back which left me to eat my meal alone. Then once I had completed my entire meal the finally steak came back, without the blue cheese it had on it when it got sent back. A manager came over to ask how everything was and when we told her what had happened all she did was offer us a free dessert. Our waitress was not very apologetic even when we pointed out that we both ate our entire meals alone and that we were celebrating a birthday. So we took our free dessert home and told the manager that we would not ever return, which we will not. If you are looking to celebrate something special do not pick this restaurant. There are many other wonderful places to eat in Grand Rapids, heck we have had much better service at Smokey Bones next door that we did at this "high class" restaurant. Poor service and average food made this a birthday I will not soon forget unfortunately for all the wrong reasons.
