Green all meat burritos or spicy pork's as I call them are one of my all time favorites. I moved to northern Michigan some years ago. But every time I visit Grand Rapids I always have to stop to Taco Boy to at least half a dozen to bring home with me. I wish we had a Taco Boy up here. Is there any way a girl could get the recipe?

worst food ever and poor customer service. Recently visited taco boy food was very nasty and cold. I've only tried this place a few times and have exprienced very bad customer service. The staff are extremely rude and ungreetable. The young ladies that are always working seems as if they have attitudes and dont like working. The place is always dirty and when i tell them to omitt something on my order it seems like they can never get it right. I always thought that customers was always right Not here when you complain all they do is agrue with u about it and then roll their eyes with a attitude. would never eat here again

food quality. i ate at taco boy on sat the 13th and was very unhappy. I had lunch in taco salad and took a super wet burrito home for my partner. I thought the food had no taste as well as my partner. We both felt sick a few hours later and i dont think it was flu i feel it was the food. We have ate there off and on for years and thought the quality yesterday was very bad. We feel it may have been the meat. I was also unhappy with the young ladies working, every time you get service there they act like a robot and dont smile and seem very unhappy with there jobs. Michele

Ew.. Don't let the taste fool you, I admit, its delicious, but when I worked there tubs of meet would sit in the back for days without even a lid. Granted, it would be in the "freezer" which was more like a fridge. Maybe its just me, but I think its pretty gross how it just sits back there and doesn't even get covered. Also, Mercy is a mean *****!!!!!! It's the worst place to work. They make you feel like crap because you didn't do something in a certain pattern, not even kidding.

Having Taco Boy withdraws. I moved from GR to Tampa Bay Florida about a year and a half ago. Noone here has ever heard of a wet burrito, let alone make one. I visited GR about a month ago, and before I even got to where I was going, I had to stop to get one. It was so good. I wish they would open up a shop down here. Noone can touch Taco Boy's delicious burritos. I miss it so much!

Real Mexican food with flavor!. The two sisters who own and run this place make great food! Don't let the size of the building or the name fool you. This is the best Mexican food and town, and probably the least expensive. Come to Taco Boy and be amazed. The wet burritos are so much better that at the Beltline Bar or Cheers or any other of the places that serve warmed up food from Gordons' Food Service.

Delicious and homemade!. This is Grand Rapids' first/original Mexican restaurant, and they are one of only 2 Mexican restaurants in Michigan to be awarded some authenticity award (I don't remember the details -- read about it in the article hanging on the wall at the Plainfield location). I love the tacos! The meat is tender and creamy. The hot sauce is also delicious. I can't comment on the other food because I love the tacos so much that I have never managed to order anything else.

Great Tamales!. I love mexican food and I am noticing how hard it is to find some good tamales.

Taco Boy has been the absolute best place I have found. their tamales are pretty big and the flavor is great.

their taco's are really good too. I've not tried the burrito's yet but the way all the other items taste I am just sure they have to be good, I will be finding out soon for sure! lol
