The Best Asian Cuisine
by OptimusPrime51
Seoul Garden has the best Asian Cuisine in the city. They offer a wide variety of dishes which are all delicious. Their chicken dishes are wonderful as well as the Mongolian Beef and Moo-Shoo Vegetable. They have the best Crab Cheese appetizer in the GR area and their Sizzling Rice soup is always rich with flavor. The sushi is always fresh and served beautifully.
The atmosphere is very welcoming and peaceful. The staff is very friendly and eager to please you as the customer.
I have visited other Asian Cuisine restaurants and none of them compare to Seoul. They have been my restaurant of choice for over 10 years.
I don't think that the people who commented that it was not clean have ever actually stepped foot inside Seoul Garden. It is always spotless. Also, my uncle who drives delivery to a lot of restaraunts in the city claims that it is by far the cleanest Asian restaraunt in Grand Rapids, and the only one he would feel comfortable eating at. Don't believe the comments about it being dirty, NOT TRUE!
- Pros: Excellent Chinese and Sushi
Really Bad "Korean" Food
by Learning2Fly
We started by sending our ice teas back (fermented). The soup and appetizer were ok, but took forever. Then we waited close to 30 more minutes to be served lukewarm entrees. My bulgoki was inedible, it was an unappetizing gray color, tough, looked and tasted boiled and judging by the large amount of murky liquid in the bowl probably was. The kimchi was mediocre and the portions tiny. When my husband asked to see the manager the waiter became surly and denied there was anything wrong. The manager never showed. We refused to pay for anything but the soup and appetizer. The whole ordeal took close to an hour and a half. This place is way over priced and the service and food horrible.
- Pros: None I can think of
- Cons: bad food and worse service
The worst place

Seoul Garden Restaurant is so dirty. It seems clean unless you do not enter the kitchin. My friend told me that they frequently use leftovers for kimchi and the other side dishes.
