The only way you could call this 'French' cuisine is if you call FRENCH Fries FRENCH Food.

Fat Man's is a fabulous Fry House; a Grand Rapids landmark, but if you're looking for French Food here, you'll be sorely disappointed.

• Pros: people watching fun, clean, efficient operation
• Cons: take out only, EVERYTHING is fried, challenging parking
