No service. We stopped by after 11 pm. No hostess, no Bartender and one waitress. Sat down in a booth and no one approached us for service, so we left! Maybe the staff was all outside smoking :)

It will be some time before we dine there.

Best Burrito Ever. I have been a fan of the Beltline Bar for years....I agree the service and food went downhill for a minute...but I decided to try it again a month ago and OMG! was it Fantastic!!!! The Famous Burrito was just like I remembered it before. I think this last guy wayyy over exaggerated his bad experience. The staff was full of smiles and were very attentive. I went this past weekend and there was a wait of 45 minutes so they must be doing something right. Oh and when we inquired about how long the wait was they informed us they now had call ahead seating so next time we will call before we come. Thanks Beltline...keep it going!!

Dirty nasty burritos. I went to the Beltline Bar 2 weeks ago and was served by the ugliest jacka** i've ever met. It was some blonde a**hole named Neal or Nick. 1st of all he screwed our order up, I wanted one of their "Famous" wet burritos and ended up with a burger covered with guacamole ****uugggggghhhhh**** gross., and then my water had looked like one of the dirty ragamuffin hostesses had s pit in it. The restaurant on a whole looked clean and tidy and i did notice a younger busboy taking on most of the workload as an uncharacteristically lazy mexican stood watch.

The food was alright i guess, a bit too cheesy for me. Service was horrid, if I see Neal on the streets i am goin to f*** his world up. He was walking round a swearing, i think at one point i saw him strike the busboy in the genitals, very unprofessional. I may go back to see if this was a fluke visit and it is really worth it like everyone says it is. but i doubt it.

WONT EAT HERE AGAIN. MY BURRITO WAS GOOD BUT THEY ARE NOT GIANTS LIKE PEOPLE THINK, MY WIFES CHICKEN ENCHILADA WAS GOOD. SERVICE SUCKED. DIRTY. WAITRESS NEVER BROUGHT ME THE ONIONS AND SOUR CREAM I ASKED FOR. THIS IS THE ONLY MEXICAN RESTURAUNT THAT I HAVE BEEN TO THAT YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR THE BASKET OF CHIPS.

I DO NOT KNOW HOW THIS PLACE RANKED SO GOOD.

Filthy, nasty, YUCK!!!. The rice looked like it was made last month and dry as a desert. When we were eating the busboy was sweeping food off the floor and it was flying in the air into our plates. We got up to go to the bathroom and when we got back our food and drinks were gone. The busboy did not speak english so he didn't know what he was doing. We asked him where our food had gone. He looked at us like we were idiots. I would never recomend eating here!!!

NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN!!! What A NIGHTMARE!!!. My wife and I went to eat here after rave reviews from co-workers. Very bad idea. This is not mexican food! This was horrible. I would have rather eaten Taco Bell instead. The chips weren't fresh, and the saisa was so bad we could even eat it. They provide you with alot of food, but the quality was simply nasty. The locals love it here, but it makes you wonder if they have ever tried real Mexcian food.

Never Again!

Disappointed. Didn't like the food, and the service was not good either.. Having just moved to Michigan from New Mexico, we have been searching for some good Mexican restaurants. Quite a few people had mentioned the Beltline Bar, so we checked it out. It was not good. I like a little bit of flavor to my food, not something just drenched in cheese. You know it isn't going to be spicy with tables full of senior citizens.

My husband and I both got burritos. They were big. But that was about the only thing going for them. They were practically flavorless and just drenched in cheese. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE CHEESE. But you know it isn't good when you are peeling it off and placing it in an empty side dish.

The table next to us received the wrong order. The waitress suggested that they eat it anyway because it was almost what they wanted. Our service was slow. We would have to flag down a server to request refills.

Maybe we have pretty high standards for Mexican food, but the Beltline Bar didn't come close.

ALWAYS worth the wait!!!!. Although the Beltline has great wet burritos, I opt for the Mexican style chicken tacos. Tender juicy chicken in a tortilla, deep fried, and then topped with cheese, lettuce, and tomato (I always add onions, sour cream, and their hot salsa as well). Pair that with a House Margarita, sit back, and enjoy!

Worst Mexican in Town. If you like burned ground beef, margaritas that taste like pure mixer, this is the place for you. I've been cured of ever going here again. Really lousy food and drinks, service is pathetic and the place is filthy. We had to change 2 tables because of the crusted on beans and chees at our table. Makes you wonder if it's been inspected lately?????
