DISSAPPOINTING!. i wanted so bad to like this place. i am a huge supporter of local businesses/restaurants. i have been to green well a total of 4 times and left extremely dissatisfied each time. the food sucks! that's the most important. the funniest and most offensive menu item being their "potstickers" on a bed of "kimchee" that is more like some nondescript, flavorless, mushy substance fried in dough on a bed of glorified cole slaw smothered in way too much grape jelly like sauce. i was one of two people at my table who ordered this. we only took two bites each. usually, a server would ask if there was something wrong with the dish but......oh yeah, that's right. the service at green well is horrible too. also, the place is too crowded, noisy/echos and overall chaotic. my last (as in i will never go back) visit......there was the world's loudest, most obnoxious techno music playing which added to the claustrophobic, stressful atmosphere. i went over and beyond trying to like this place. i even tried setting myself up for success by asking people (clients, friends etc.) who claim they like the place, what to order. it was unanimous......the warm spinach salad. i ordered it. it was just ok. way too much going on. is it possible for a salad to try to hard?:) my overall assessment= a failed attempt at a good concept but great for stupid yuppies who don't know any better. hey, at least it's not applebee's.......wait actually, the burgers at applebee's r better than anything u could order at greenwell. sad:( THUMBS DOWN TO GREEN WELL.
