a great hair care experience

I feel at home as soon as I walk in. The sound of music in the background and the look of the salon holds me captive. I notice there are many things around the salon that I do not see at most salons. It really has an at home feel. Darcy the salon owner asks me if I am ready to get started and I follow her to the shampoo bowl. I lay back and let her work her magic. I hear the music in the background and start to relax. I then follow her to the styling chair that is placed in front of a huge mirror. I watch as my hair is transformed into a a cut that I can only exlain as one I have waited a lifetime for. I simply told her what I wanted and it was like she could read my mind. I simply put got exactly what I asked for. I would recommed this salon to anyone who is looking to get a good haircut. Who wants to go to that place that almost gives you the cut you want when you can go to Darcy's and get the cut you want. I give this salon a thumb up!

The little things make this place great!

I had a really great time at Darcy's. The salon is clean, elegantly decorated, and welcoming.

From the start, I was offered a glass of wine and a comfortable chair while I waited. The shampoo bowl was wonderful. The haircut looked great and Darcy was very personable and related to me like we were old friends.

I used to go to Design 1, but the service is lacking and I will be going here from now on.

If you are looking for a great place to get a haircut or color, this is the place.

The experience is worth every penny.

Soho in Grand Rapids

Darcy has created a salon that is truly an inspiring place. The studio reminds me of salons in Soho, New York: relaxing and comfortable with great energy! The work I had done was articulate, professional, and very modern. Thanks so much Darcy's Hair Studio, you girls are awesome!
